The Knape & Vogt 14 in. 183C Center Flanged Bracket is part of the 183 Series Flanged Bracket System and features flanges that allow for simple attachment to wooden shelves. This bracket system is ideal for heavy-duty storage and display applications in retail stores, light warehouses, repair garages, homes, and offices. The 16-gauge steel bracket locks into single slotted standards for strong, secure, weight-bearing support, and holds up to 460 lbs. per pair when properly installed (load rating varies per bracket size). The 183 Series Flanged Brackets are designed with flanges containing keyhole-style mounting holes that allow the quick and easy fixturing of shelves, and are vertically adjustable in 1 in. increments. Flanged brackets and mounting holes ensure brackets and shelving both remain firmly in place when used in applications that involve heavy weight. The 183C center bracket features double flange support for joining two shelves, while the corresponding 183R and 183L brackets are single flanged for use in right and left end positions (183R and 183L brackets sold separately). Bracket is BHMA Grade 2 Compliant and features a long-lasting, corrosion-resistant anochrome finish. The 183C Center Flanged Bracket is designed for optimal use with Knape & Vogt 83 Series Oversized Standards (sold separately), but is compatible with Knape & Vogt 85 Series Standards as well, which can be used with this system in long shelving runs to provide additional support.- Attributes
